Cacao has been traced back millions of years to the east Andes in South America, and the traditions of cacao usage can be traced back to the rain forests and high lands of Central America.  Raw cacao was first used as a health elixir and ceremonial medicine by the Olmec people, who were an Ancient and mysterious Mesoamerican civilization; before becoming a ritualistic medicine used by the Aztec and Mayan cultures who considered it to be a divine ambrosia, spiritual elixir, sacred medicine healer and ritual aid to release negative emotions and connect to pure heart energy.

An Indigenous Mayan prophecy tells that when the Earth and its people are out of balance, the cacao will come out from the rainforest to open people’s hearts and return the planet to a state of harmony.  We are now living in those times.

The cacao I offer is organic, ceremonial grade cacao imported directly from Peru.

​

Cacao deepens our connection to our heart, and expands our capacity to love and be loved.  In a world where we’re realising that everything is love, that’s a pretty potent medicine. And everyone deserves a taste.

The more that people connect to self-love and awareness of themselves and their behaviours, the more that they can make loving and conscious choices for the greater good of all.

Cacao ceremonies provide a safe and nurturing space that supports that connection with your true self.  We begin by sitting in sacred circle, honouring the cacao spirit with shamanic prayer, and humbly asking for our intentions to be heard.  The cacao is offered in liquid form and we all drink together to honour the rituals of the Ancestors.

The spiritual and emotional effects, along with the feelings of Love, Empathy and Compassion as you feel your heart opening can be profoundly healing, on many levels.
